Assam: Human Skeleton Recovered From Septic Tank In Nagaon District

GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident, a human skeleton was recovered from a septic tank in Assam's Nagaon district.

According to reports, the incident was recorded from the Kuthori area in Kaliabor in the district.

Meanwhile, locals claim the identity of the deceased is suspected to be one Umesh Bora.

Notably, Bora has been missing for the past three months and his wife had filed a missing complaint at Bagori Police Station.

Following the complaint, police launched a probe into the matter.

Local police along with the executive magistrate reached the scene and recovered the skeleton from the toilet tank.

During the preliminary investigation, police suspect that the wife of the deceased was having an extramarital affair with a man named Majibur Rahman and she along with the former had committed the crime.

Police have detained both for questioning. Further investigation is underway.
